Award : Nominated for the MIT/Lemelson Sustainability Award.

2010: This award is for innovations in sustainability that have a significant impact for base of the pyramid communities. My nomination was for the work I am doing to create sustainable micro-enterprises for communities along the Choco-Andes Ecological corridor in Ecuador.

2013: I have been nominated again for the MIT/Lemelson Sustainability Award for the plastic thatch invention and the business plan designed for its implementation.
